Hello Everyone,
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. While I still have some limitations I am much better than I was in October and expect a full recovery.
March is going to be an active and, for some, uncomfortably challenging month and I did want to give an overview.
Let’s start with our good friend Mars. He went retrograde on 1/6 in his debilitated sign of Cancer. (Cancer is the ruler of the stomach and Mars is viral illnesses – the Noro Virus is a good example of Mars being poorly placed.) Eventually, Mars retrograded back into Gemini on 1/21. (Gemini is the respiratory system and we started to hear more about the flu and lungs.) Astronomically, retrograde indicates a planet is closer to the earth and Mars assumed forward motion on 2/24 and he will move out of Gemini back into Cancer on 4/4/25. On June 7th he will move out of Cancer and into Leo which is a more harmonious placement for our fiery friend. Tuesday is considered Mars’ Day and chanting the Mars mantra (Om Kum Kreem Kuja ya Namah) is a positive way to tamper down the energy.
We are also quickly approaching the eclipses in March. (3/14 is the Lunar and 3/29 is the Solar.) Eclipses are always emotional, fanciful and can often be hard on factual truth. The good news is that much of the crazy actions coming out of D.C. are being made under the unbalanced energy of the eclipse and will not succeed. The bad news is that regardless of the eclipse we are living in a country in which a substantial number of people voted for the lies of a convicted felon, thief, cheater and sexual predator. We are all paying the price.
This will be the last eclipse in the Pisces/Virgo axis for 9 years. Pisces is the planet of creativity, spirituality and compassion. Virgo is a sign that prefers numbers, order and facts. People with strong Pisces or Virgo in their charts will feel some relief after May 15th when the nodal points move to Aquarius/Leo. (The Leo ego is about to be trimmed by Ketu and it is of note that Trump and the shadow President of Musk both have strong placements in Leo – the bromance might not survive the new placements.)
Of course, Mercury is going to throw himself into the mix by being debilitated in Pisces and moving into retrograde on March 15th (yes, in the middle of the eclipse energy). Basically, logic is going underground until April. (Mercury will resume direct motion on 4/7 and will enter Aries on 5/7.) This is not the time to try and talk sense into those who prefer irrational thinking. It is a good time for creativity, music, meditation and kindness. Decisions that can be deferred should be.
The final planet to talk about is Venus. Currently, Venus is in Pisces his sign of exhalation. Venus will go retrograde on 3/2 and remain retrograde until 4/13 and his entire retrograde will be in the sign of Pisces which is good for us. Venus is learning, music, the sacred and relationships. Significantly, he is the ruler of the heart chakra (in the center of the chest) which offers an energetic haven for people of compassion and creativity. We are all going to experience some upsets to our mental and emotional harmony during the next month or so. An attribute of the heart center is its connection to our higher self and the universal mind. It just takes some conscious breathing, music, meditation or compassion to pull us away from the chaos of the physical world. Venus will help with this and combined with kindness and gratitude we can move through the craziness of this time-period with grace, people and growth.
I like synchronicity and certainly the planetary patterns match the general unpredictability of the month of March this year. It’s time to be kind and that includes being kind to ourselves. Not one of us can solve the many problems we as a species, are facing at this time. In honesty, lack of compassion and a determination that money is the most important aspect of life has played a large role in where we are at this moment. Take a cue from Venus and use kindness and compassion as the available map.
